I didn't want to disrupt the thread as i feel you guys were discussing something important. so i posted this rant here instead. here goes.

I'd just like to interject a comment here on what D said.



I see it this way; we have become divorced from experiencing our 'higher' self or whatever you want to call it that doesn't assume anything other than yourself operating at it's optimum level.

The shamans of this world are advertisers. The word is the most powerful thing in this world, mainly because 'in the beginning there was the word'. A spell is literally to do that: spell words. casting spells means using words to achieve a different state of consciousness whether it be your own or someone else.

advertisers, politicians, etc all use the power of the word. however. their 'shamanism' is used to dull people into this 'ignorant' state. advertisers offer 'light entertainment'. all of this is geared towards being trapped in this illusory world and remaining focused upon the 'mundane', well perhaps to create the illusion that the illusion is 'mundane'.

money is the centre of it all because it has displaced the 'bio-survival' drive from that of our own tribe. For example, we used to always go back to the tribe. Since our 'tribe' is now the 'state', which is a concept and not a place or a group of people, we cannot EVER go back 'home', and experience bio-survival (or safety) feelings in one specific place. Money, as it is controlled by the 'state', controls our basic human instinct. if you had no money and no means of getting any money, you would feel ostrecized by your society (or tribe), you would end up in the gutter because no one cares about you. With no money you cannot have any drive or ambition. You cannot do anything other than stagnate. This is the equivalent of being being banished to hell. This is why i think anarchism is popular in places where state controls money. In groups, humans can regain that drive without the need of relying on money. This is a fundamental idea that I believe may just change the world we think is so real. If we organise ourselves into groups that do not rely on the state, we have created a group of people who are self-reliant, and ultimately powerful. I believe that an organisation of such a group of warriors, as put forward by Castaneda, would be able to ignore the cries of their tonals and enter into the nagual permenantly. i believe that this is where evolution is actually taking us. it was necessary to do all the things we have done, progress is logical. however, i feel that the people in power were consumed by that power at some point along the way, and perverted the course of logic, and became fascists and decided that people need to be kept in the dark. locked in mundane existences created by their own imaginations (which those in power effectively control with materialism).

D: what you have said here is more than just words, it is your pure intent geared towards getting us all to understand something vital that we're all missing (or maybe it's just me that's missing the point here). i just wanted to say that every time i visit this forum i find something that you say or someone else says that is geared towards making me shift my consciousness, shift the focus of my awareness.

in evolutionary terms you are helping us all move towards the boiling point. and i 'assume' that if we spread this idea that we all must shift our focus and we all must embrace the unknown - that everyone on this planet will achieve what you are trying to say and we can all evolve together.
