He is curious to find a his neigbours dog dead and begins an exciting adventure which will challenge him and push his world to the limit in order to solve the mystery of the dead dog and the mystery of his dead mother.

Funny, fast moving and a plot that just keeps going. who is responsible for the dog? why is his father lying to him? what will the consequences be if he finds the answers others seem intent to hide?

I liked this book because the story runs two distinct world views in parallel. There is the boys world and the parents world which are destined to meet in the real world!

ah, reminds me of the old flaming carrot case of ..............." THE DEAD DOG WHO JUMPED UP AND FLEW AROUND THE ROOM BUMPING INTO EVERYBODY" Don't worry though, the carrot grabbed a 2 by 4 and whacked that dead dog to pieces! HA!!!

Well for a minute there i was worried. Still am actually. I wonder if i can solve my other problemswith 2 by 4
